It arrives with peel-and-stick backing, ready for you to place. Which panel, which height, which way round — that's yours to decide, and it has to be, because you won't know until you've chosen your layout. Lift it off later if you rearrange, or if the pen moves on to a new little resident.

Spell it exactly as you'd like to see it; we cut what you send us, freckles and all.

🧩 One box. Build it to your room.

Twelve pieces, and you decide how many of them to use. It goes together and comes apart in minutes — building blocks, essentially, for people with a puppy. Which means the pen can shrink, grow and change shape as your life does.

• The two rooms — all twelve pieces, roughly 85 × 125cm. Ten panels make the outer wall and the two doors turn inward as an interior partition: a 78 × 80cm main room with a 38 × 80cm snug beside it. A bed set away from the food bowl, or a quiet half for whelping.
• One open room — ten pieces, roughly 85 × 125cm. The same outer wall, but with the doors left in it rather than inside. All that floor, undivided.
• The small square — eight pieces, roughly 85 × 85cm. For smaller rooms, smaller residents, or the corner beside your desk. Four pieces simply stay in the box until you want them.

So no, you don't need to clear half the lounge before you order. Build the shape your room can actually take, and change it whenever you rearrange — the nameplate lifts off and moves with it.

A note on honesty. The walls stand 60cm tall — a law of physics to an eight-week-old kitten, a mild suggestion to an athletic adult cat. This is built for small residents and supervised early days, not as long-term housing for a cat who has discovered vertical ambition. We'd rather tell you now than in a review.

📏 Before you order

Have a quick look at the spot you have in mind and pick your build from the three above — most rooms take the small square or the two-room quite happily, and you can always start small and add panels later.

And if you're at all unsure — whether it suits your particular pet, whether it'll sit where you're picturing — please just email us. We answer within a working day, and we would far, far rather talk it through beforehand than post one to you twice.

If it still isn't right. The pen can come home within 30 days, and the nameplate is yours to keep — we won't ask for it back, and we wouldn't know what to do with it if you did.

It needs to arrive unused and in its original packaging, so do keep the box for those thirty days — twelve acrylic panels travel a great deal better in the one they came in than in anything you'll find in the recycling. Return postage is yours to arrange. Please email us first for the return address, and send it tracked. A parcel this size is not cheap to send, and that's worth knowing before you buy rather than after.

We're one small operation in Essex, not a warehouse with a returns department in the basement. A pen that travels twice costs us a good deal more than it made — which is precisely why we'd rather spend that time answering your questions properly beforehand. So do ask. Nothing is too small a question.
